Mt Folly

Design guidelines

Logos

Mt. Folly has a collection of symbols that form a cohesive set. This allows us to achieve different tones across all of our product lines and locations while maintaining a consistent identity. The following is a set of guidelines meant to act as a starting point for these new pieces. Not a rigid set of rules. The strength of this identity comes from being able to mix and match pieces to achieve different tones.

This symbol can be used as a stand alone identifier but only when it’s clear that the communication, location, or product is from Mt. Folly. There are 2 versions of our owl, one meant for light backgrounds, one meant for dark backgrounds. Example: The store on Main Street could have the Mt Folly lockup on the exterior door, and when you walk inside the owl can be on the wall by itself. On packaging, the script could be on the front of the packaging, and the owl could be on the back.
